Hennepin County residents can drop off unused medicines at several drop box locations, including one in Minnetonka.

Friday – Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Sunday: Closed

There is no fee or ID required. Medicines from households – including prescriptions, controlled substances, over-the-counter medicine, vitamins, supplements and pet medicines – are accepted. Bring medicines in their original packaging or container.

Needles and syringes are not accepted. Medicines from businesses – including health care facilities and pharmacies – are not accepted.
