Garlic Mustard Volunteer Event

  • Date: 06/30/2021 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Garlic Mustard Volunteer Opportunities

Help natural resources staff remove invasive garlic mustard plants in valued park habitat. Garlic mustard flowers are no longer blooming in June, so we'll be removing seed pods to prevent their spread in July.

  • Bring a hand trowel (digging tool), hand pruners, garden gloves, water and insect repellent (if desired). Wear work clothes with sturdy footwear.
  • Participants must wear a mask.
  • We'll work in rain, but the event will be canceled if there is severe weather or lightning.
  • Please note: Advance registration is required and release forms must be signed on-site.

All events take place from 6–8 p.m.
