Low or no water pressure

If there is a significant change in your water pressure, report the issue to the city immediately. Call 952-988-8400 during business hours. Outside business hours call 952-258-5321.

Cable television rate regulations

Cable television rate changes are regulated by the FCC and cities have no involvement in determining rates. The City of Minnetonka is a member of the Southwest Suburban Cable Commission, and the commission’s attorney reviews rate changes to ensure they meet legal requirements.

Cable mediation

All questions or complaints about cable television service should be directed to your provider. However, the city does help mediate unresolved complaints. If you have already spoken to your cable company and need city assistance to mediate an issue, contact Network Administrator Jeff Dulac at 952-939-8200.

Water and sewer services and all plumbing inside the home, are the responsibility of the property owner. If issues should arise in your plumbing, please contact a licensed plumber to assist you. If you are experiencing a sewer backup, please contact utilities staff at the numbers provided so we can verify the cause of the backup. Some repairs may require utilities staff to turn your water off at the curb stop or assist is some other way. During normal business hours (7 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday), call Utilities at 952-988-8400. For all after-hour emergencies, please dial 911. Dispatchers will make every attempt to contact the appropriate Public Works personnel. Minnetonka Public Works will assess fees for these services on your next utility bill.
