Tuesday, Nov. 2 is Election Day. Here’s what you need to know to cast your ballot in the city election:

Voting hours and registration

• 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• If you’re in line at 8 p.m., you’re allowed to vote.
• Learn how to register at polls

Polling locations

• Find your polling place and a sample ballot at mnvotes.org/pollfinder.
• Two polling locations have changed from 2020:
  • Ward 1, Precinct E voters will vote at Minnetonka Public Works, 11522 Minnetonka Blvd.
  • Ward 3, Precinct B voters will vote in the Minnetonka Council Chambers, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd.

Who’s on the ballot

• Mayor and two at-large City Council seats
• Local school board seats

Ranked choice voting

• Minnetonka voters will use ranked choice voting for mayor and City Council.
• Learn more about how it works

Results

• Unofficial results will be available after the polls close.
• The Minnetonka City Council will certify the local election results at a meeting Nov. 8-10. Official results will be available following council certification.
