The Minnetonka Fire Department is hosting an open house with sensory disorders in mind.

On April 22 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., join us at the Central Fire Station at 14550 Minnetonka Blvd. for an event designed especially for residents with sensory disorders. The department will still have public safety vehicles, lifesaving equipment and our 15-foot slide, but we'll run the event without lights and sirens which could be a trigger for some.

Smaller crowds will also make it easier for families to navigate. This event is open to all.
