Patsy Foster-Bolton was elected to the Minnetonka City Council in 2023. 

Prior to her election, Patsy was active in community organizing, working specifically on issues related to affordable housing, clean air and a multi-racial democracy with a caring economy for all. She previously volunteered with Hopkins Public Schools.

A resident of Minnetonka for 30 years, Patsy earned a bachelor of arts degree from the College of St. Catherine. She currently serves as manager of the employee fitness program at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She and her husband have two grown sons, both graduates of Hopkins High School.

A long-distance runner, Patsy enjoys training in Minnetonka’s beautiful parks and trails. She has run seven marathons and learned how to play hockey at age 55.
