Zoning is the process of dividing land into various zones or districts. Different land uses are permitted or prohibited in different districts. Minnetonka has numerous residential and commercial districts.

Zoning map

To learn what zoning district a property is located in, use the city’s zoning map application. Search properties by address or Property Identification (PID) number.

Land use and zoning confirmation forms

If you require an official land use and zoning confirmation form, sometimes called a zoning letter, download and complete our Land Use and Zoning Confirmation Request and email it to us. There is a $100 fee; letters will be released upon check or credit card payment.
