The Community Center banquet room is approximately 100′ x 45′ and can accommodate up to 250 people.

Minnetonka residents may reserve this space up to 18 months in advance; nonresidents up to 12 months in advance.

Catering

Renters can use a caterer of their choice for the event.

Licensed caterer: A current copy of the catering license is required to be on file at the Minnetonka Community Center.

If providing your own food or using a non-licensed caterer: A certificate of liability insurance, in the amount of $300,000-plus, must be provided at least two weeks before the scheduled event. The City of Minnetonka must be listed as a Certificate Holder. This coverage may be included in your homeowner's insurance policy under the general liability section.

Alcohol Policy

Beer, malt beverages, wine and champagne are allowed with an additional $300 fee. Security will be provided by the Minnetonka Police Department.

How to Reserve

FAQs

When do I get my damage deposit returned?
Deposits are returned within 10 business days after your event and upon successful inspection of the facility by city staff.

What items are available to rent?
Coffee and TV/DVD player. The projector and screen are included in the room rental. Pricing is listed under Fees.

Can I use tape to hang up my decorations?
Tape, tacks, glitter, confetti, cutouts, ceiling decorations and fog-like machines are not permitted. All decorations and wall attachment methods must be approved by management.
