In 2023, the City of Minnetonka began work on its Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. Led by the Sustainability Commission and city staff, this project will help the city plan for the effects of climate change.  The plan will include a robust public engagement effort, with events held throughout the summer. Resident input will be included to help build a plan that will show:

• A vulnerability assessment highlighting strengths and weaknesses in human infrastructure, built infrastructure and the natural environment
• Focus areas with tactics to make the city more sustainable
• Climate adaptation and greenhouse gas reduction goals and strategies
• Tools to track the city's progress
