The cities of Minnetonka and Hopkins are working together to create a joint vision for the Shady Oak LRT station area (the area roughly bound by Excelsior Boulevard on the north, Shady Oak Road on the west, the regional trail on the south and 11th Avenue on the east). The strategy builds upon previous planning work and will formulate an articulated area vision, zoning and implementation strategy that will be reviewed and implemented by both cities.
