Nov 4, 2021 update

Grading and utility work has started at Island Oaks. Weather dependent, utility connections to Bantas Point road will occur during the week of November 8. During installation, the McGinty Road W/Bantas Point Road intersection will be closed. A temporary, gravel bypass road will be used to access the Bantas Point neighborhood. Traffic will detour from McGinty Road West at the existing Ice property driveway, through the project site, and onto Bantas Point Road. Please follow signs and drive carefully.

In January 2021, Wooddale Builders submitted a concept plan for the development of the property at 16509 McGinty Road. The concept plan contemplated construction of 8 villa homes with access from Bantas Point Road. The planning commission and city council reviewed the concept plan and provided feedback prior to the formal plan and application.
