In 2022, the city council approved the redevelopment of the property at 5500 Rowland Road into two, single-family residential lots. TWP Architects is proposing to construct a house at 5470 Rowland Road. The house requires a front yard setback (for a code-defined corner lot)  from 35 feet to 25 feet from the regional trail right-of-way.
