As required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Minnetonka completed the Service Line Survey in 2024. The purpose of the survey is to determine if any home water service lines contain harmful metals, including lead.

As of Sept. 24, 2024, Minnetonka's inventory contains no lead or galvanized lines requiring replacement. 8,044 lines contain an unknown material and 9,573 are non-lead service lines.
