Sept. 18, 2020
Paving and striping has been completed on all roads.
Final cleanup is underway.
This marks the last city-issued update, as the project is complete.
Aug. 28, 2020
Restoration landscaping has been completed on all roads.
Due to a minor delay, Whitewater Drive is now scheduled for paving next week.
Roadway striping is tentatively scheduled for the week of Sept. 7 and will mark the completion of the project.
Aug. 21, 2020
Minnetonka Mills Road landscape restoration, including topsoil and seeding, is currently underway. Road striping will follow.
Rowland Road was paved this week. Restoration landscaping is scheduled for next week.
Whitewater Drive was milled this week. Manholes and valves are being adjusted. Paving is tentatively scheduled for next week.

Minnetonka Mills Road paving is complete. Landscape restoration, including topsoil and seed, is scheduled for late next week. Road striping will follow.
Rowland Road was milled this week. Manholes and valves are being adjusted. Paving is tentatively scheduled for next week.
Whitewater Drive is scheduled to be milled next week.

CenterPoint Energy completed its utility improvements on Minnetonka Mills Road.
Minnetonka Mills Road paving is scheduled to begin next Tuesday.
Rowland Road milling is also scheduled to begin next Tuesday.
July 31, 2020
This week’s construction was delayed due to private utility work. Minnetonka Mills Road paving and Rowland Road milling have been rescheduled to early next week.
July 24, 2020
Minnetonka Mills Road was milled this week. All manholes and valves are being adjusted to prepare for road paving, which is scheduled for next week.
Next week crews will mill the pavement on Rowland Road.
July 17, 2020
CenterPoint Energy completed gas main replacement.
On Tuesday, July 21 crews will mill the pavement on Minnetonka Mills Road.
All manholes and valves will be adjusted prior to road paving.
June 12, 2020
The Mill and Overlay Project is taking a brief hiatus due to CenterPoint Energy’s facility upgrades, which are expected to last approximately three weeks. When CenterPoint’s work is complete, the project will resume to complete the road work.
June 5, 2020
Miscellaneous sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement is complete.
Minnetonka Mills road is tentatively scheduled to be milled on Tuesday, June 9. Once that’s complete, manholes and valves will be adjusted prior to repaving.
CenterPoint Energy will be modifying its gas system.
May 29, 2020
Construction is under way on the city’s 2020 Mill and Overlay Project, which will resurface sections of Minnetonka Mills Road, Rowland Road and Whitewater Drive (view map).
Miscellaneous sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement began this week.
Manholes will be lowered to facilitate milling, which is expected to occur the week of June 8. Please watch for lowered manholes and drive carefully.
After milling is complete, manholes will be adjusted and streets will be repaved.
April 3, 2020
The City of Minnetonka will present bids for the 2020 Mill and Overlay Project to the Minnetonka City Council at its virtual meeting Monday, April 6, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. The council will be asked to award the contract and authorize the start of construction.
