Ridgehaven Lane/Ridgedale Drive Improvements Project Updates Archive
- Crews are working final project-wide cleanup.
- Sod installation is expected to take place the week of June 10.
- Final paving is scheduled for Sunday, June 9 with striping to follow.
- The new road alignment is tentatively scheduled to open tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 17). Crews are working on finishing touches, including signs and striping.
- Sidewalks are being installed along Ridgehaven Lane and through the Ridgehaven Mall parking lot.
- Excavation for a new filtration basin is taking place on Ridgedale Drive.
- Traffic signal and street light installation on Ridgedale Drive will continue for approximately two weeks. Traffic control officers will assist during busy times in the coming week.
- Retaining wall construction and grading, paving and curb placement in the Target parking lot are complete.
- Crews will pave the new southbound Ridgedale Drive and the Ridgehaven Mall parking lot, and sidewalks will be installed along Ridgehaven Lane and through the Ridgehaven Mall parking lot.
- Traffic signal and street light installation on Ridgedale Drive will continue next week.

Work will begin on the Ridgehaven Lane / Ridgedale Drive improvements Project the week of April 9. Please be alert, drive carefully through construction areas and plan accordingly for delays.
Gas Main Relocation Scheduled to Begin Monday, Oct. 30
CenterPoint Energy is scheduled to begin relocating the gas main along Ridgehaven Lane Monday, Oct. 30. As a result, Ridgehaven Lane will be closed for approximately 3-4 days. This will be a full road closure with posted detours.
Crews will begin work in the area, including tree removal, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, but will not need to close the road until Oct. 30. Following the closure, CenterPoint will continue to work in the right-of-way until the gas main relocation is complete.
