Surveying in the proposed project area, which includes collecting field measurements and gathering survey information, is expected to begin in February 2022. Surveying will be conducted by the city’s engineering consultant, Bolton & Menk, and is weather-dependent and subject to change. Surveying will be primarily conducted from the street, but may take place in yards, driveways and parking lots in certain areas. Underground utilities will be temporarily marked with flags or paint. Please leave these markers in place until survey crews have completed work in the area.

Soil borings will be obtained throughout the proposed project area to identify existing soil conditions. This work will be conducted by the city’s geotechnical consultant, Braun-Intertec and is expected to take place the week of February 28, 2022.

Please follow social distancing guidelines and do not approach anyone completing field work in the project area. Instead, contact city staff to ask questions or learn more about the project.
