The city council approved redevelopment of the property at 11001 Bren Road East. The existing building will be removed and three new apartment buildings, containing 482 senior and general occupancy apartments, will be constructed.
Dominium submitted a concept plan that was reviewed by the planning commission on Nov. 16, 2017 and the city council on Dec. 4, 2017.

Project Update
Nov. 20, 2018: A grading permit was approved on November 20, 2018. Work will soon begin on the retaining wall on the west side of the site. Pile driving will occur as part of the wall construction. The construction management plan contains additional information.
Application and Plans
Dominium submitted an original concept plan on October 9, 2017. A formal application was submitted April 6, 2018.
Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW)
June 13, 2018
The EAW comment period closed on June 6, 2018. To allow time for staff to review and address comments received, the city council consideration of the development proposal has been postponed. A specific date for council consideration has not been set.
May 5, 2018
As required by Minnesota Rules, an EAW has been prepared to provide information and assesses potential environmental impacts for the proposed project. The comment period is from May 7 to June 6, 2018.
