In February 2020, the city council approved Ron Clark Construction’s revised formal application and plan to construct a three-story, 75-unit apartment building at 4312 Shady Oak Road and the adjacent property to the south, which is in Hopkins.
The proposed building includes a mix of alcoves, studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments with underground parking, community and exercise rooms, management office and an outdoor play area. Rent ranges from $1,000 to $1,300 per month for affordable units, and $1,100 and $2,400 per month for market rate units.
The project was originally approved in 2017. An updated plan was submitted in 2019 and approved in 2020. See “Project background” for more details.

Ron Clark Construction submitted a formal application and final plans that were approved in September 2017. The developer submitted an updated application and plan in December 2019 that was approved in February 2020.
